NYIOP New York Auditions

NYIOP New York Auditions from November 29th – December 2nd in NYC.

I am posting the information below from an email sent to me by NYIOP International.

You can go to their site and put yourself on the mailing list. The email updates seem to provide more information than their web site, or at least it seems that it is easier to find the information in their emails. If you are interested in the auditions, I’d encourage you to read this entire post.

PLEASE NOTE:  One of the houses has specifically noted that many of the leading roles are cast for the repertoire selections which they presented to NYIOP which are listed above.  However, that same house stated that the NYIOP auditions are “important” because  there are 2nd casts, covers, last minute replacements and all matter of secondary and comprimario roles to be found at the NYIOP’s.  Therefore all the repertoire presented (from this one company) to NYIOP is represented above in its entirity.

ALSO:  One house has specifically asked NYIOP to “present as many Verdi voices as possible.”  Although this house did not send the specific Verdi operas/roles to be cast for their upcoming season(s)…they made it an urgent point to make this specific request.  NYIOP passes that onto you.
